World-renowned pastry chef Jesús Escalera has curated an exclusive
dessert collection with award winning co昀昀ee shop, Qima Cafe. The
collaboration features a series of innovative cakes and desserts that
showcase haute patisserie and the intersection of co昀昀ee combining
Jesús’ expertise with Qima Cafe’s passion for quality and ethical co昀昀ee.
The exclusive menu features display cakes such as ‘Brick by Brick’ (a
raspberry mousse, basil sponge, pâte de fruit and crisp chocolate shell
designed to look like Lego bricks) and the ‘Qima Co昀昀ee Cup’ (Trompe-l’œil dessert with dark chocolate mousse, espresso to昀昀ee, hazelnut
praline and soaked sponge). Exclusive to Covent Garden, the menu also
features elaborate plated desserts including ‘The Black Forest’ (chocolate log with almond praline, cherry pâte de fruit, vinegar jelly, cocoa

Loganberry
Actor, writer and poet Tim Key will bring his brand new show Loganberry to Wilton’s Music Hall, London from 10th - 22nd November. This
Summer saw the release of Tim’s acclaimed 昀椀lm The Ballad of Wallis
Island and his brand new book of poetry L.A Baby!. Prior to his run of
Loganberry at Wilton’s Music Hall, Tim will be performing it at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August from 30 Jul - 10 Aug. He will return
with a brand-new collection of poems, lager, and re昀氀ections. It’ll be a
case of marching in, eyeing you up, reading verse from battered playing
cards, potentially stamping his feet, howling, guzzling continental lager,
and then he’ll disappear, and that’ll be that.

Century of Rioja
The 100 Years of Rioja festival at Hackney Bridge celebrated the
eponymous gem’s winemaking heritage with wine tastings, live music,
and food pairings. Attendees sampled ver 50 di昀昀erent Rioja wines and
enjoyed street food and chef-led cooking demonstrations. It showcased
the diversity of Rioja wines, from elegant whites and rosés to rich reds.
It also featured masterclasses led by wine experts like Olly Smith, as well
as culinary demonstrations with Spanish chefs José Pizarro and Omar
Allibhoy and live music, DJ sets, and traditional Riojan dances. .
