Christmas in Mayfair at Novikov Italian
Novikov, the Mayfair dining institution and hotspot celebrated for its
exquisite Italian and Asian restaurants, as well as its vibrant Bar &
Lounge, has transformed into a Christmas haven for this festive season.
Upon entering the Italian restaurant, Christmas decorations, lights and
baubles in every corner of the space will light up the mood and bring
that special festive feeling.
For this December, Novikov Italian has launched a Christmas Set Lunch
Menu (£65 for three courses / £80 for four courses, including a glass of
Christmas Spritz) and guests can enjoy a specially curated festive menu
available daily from midday to 5 pm, o昀昀ering a re昀椀ned selection of
seasonal dishes designed to showcase the 昀氀avours of Christmas. These
indulgent festive favourites include starters such as Gravadlax with baby
beetroot and dill salad, wood-oven roasted pumpkin with stracciatella,
Piedmont hazelnuts and pomegranate, and baby spinach with feta and
roasted celeriac with cranberry vinaigrette.
For the second course, guests can choose between homemade tagliatelle
with venison and black cabbage ragù or veal lasagne with Parmesan
fondue and walnuts. For the third course, there is a choice between
grilled monk昀椀sh with red cabbage and capers, slow-roasted pork shank
with sprouting broccoli, spelt and chestnuts, traditional cotechino with
lentils, or sa昀昀ron risotto with Iberico ham.

James’s to enjoy the magic of the season. Guests can savour warming
mulled wine and traditional mince pies, alongside Franco’s full à la carte
menu, showcasing the handmade pasta, re昀椀ned 昀氀avours, and signature
dishes that have de昀椀ned the restaurant for decades. A curated collection
of premium cigars is also available for those wishing to unwind in true
St James’s style.
Franco’s heated terrace is also the perfect weekend destination, ideal for
a leisurely lunch, festive catch-up, or an elegant pre-Christmas outing.
Franco’s also o昀昀ers a special afternoon menu, available Monday - Saturday, where guests can enjoy antipasto platters with Franco’s selection of
cured meats & Italian cheeses, or a vegetarian option with a selection of
grilled vegetables & Italian cheeses, paired with a bread basket containing Focaccia, Green olive ciabatta, Grissini, Tomato & rosemary roll, and
pan carasau.

Desserts complete the experience with signature creations such as
Novikov’s Noel Tree, a light caramel mousse with mandarin centre and
gingerbread shortbread, or homemade panettone and butter pudding
served with hazelnut ice cream and vanilla custard.
In addition, from Monday to Friday between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm, all
guests visiting the Lounge Bar will be o昀昀ered a complimentary glass of
Prosecco, whether arriving with a reservation or as a walk-in. To add an
extra festive touch, guests will also have the opportunity to take part in
a Christmas surprise moment. During the promotional hours, a festive
glass bowl 昀椀lled with red bags will be placed at the bar, and guests may
select one at random to reveal a surprise inside. Prizes range from a
signature cocktail or dessert to a festive shot, or simply a warm seasonal
message, with terms and conditions applying.
