The Lime Tree
Nestled in the heart of Belgravia, two lavish Georgian townhouses
combine gloriously on Ebury Street to form the elegant base that is Lime
Tree Hotel. Its prime location is masterfully balanced by the hotel’s understated re昀椀nement and refreshingly homely charm that lend a warmth
to a昀昀airs right from the get-go! Smart bedrooms hint at luxury without
being lavish boasting warm Farrow & Ball hues and further enhanced by
crisp linen and bold wallpaper from Andrew Martin. This is a fabulous
base for any London adventure and the plethora of patrons from huge
groups of friends and family to young couples from all around the world
con昀椀rms the hotel’s versatile o昀昀erings.
The rooms, much like the lobby and the space downstairs, have the
overwhelming feel of a country house. Aforementioned Andrew Martin
wallpaper infuses all rooms with a rural-cool vibe and garden views
from a variety of rooms gives a remarkably rustic feel in the middle of
Central London. Simple, clean designs dominate and lend further credence to the homelike ambience that puts hotel guests in their comfort
zone.
There are plenty of breakfast options all around the Victoria area but
we recommend heading downstairs to the The Buttery - a fabulous
brunch spot complete with a secret country garden out back. It is the
heart of the philosophy that is central to Lime House – a rustic, laidback
restaurant which comfort food ranging from Nutella French toast and
American pancakes to heirloom tomato salads and skillets of shakshuka
made for sharing – all to be enjoyed with a side of their famous layered
roast potatoes. A visit to The Buttery is an absolute must much like a
trip on the London Underground whilst in the fair city – It’s just got to
be done and experienced!
The Lime Tree ticks a lot of boxes and shines through as an ideal base
for trips to London. There is a pretty courtyard garden complete with
lounge and deck chairs in the summer. There’s also The Snug, a cute
little event space which o昀昀ers loads of personality for private parties and
launch events. The prime location means that Lime Tree Hotel is a walk
way from Victoria Railway Station and Victoria Coach Station as well as
the wonderful shops of Elizabeth Street and then for culture vultures,
there is also the famous Apollo Victoria Theatre for a taste of the West
End! The Lime Tree is the ideal rustic base for all manner of reasons.
