As 2026 unfolds, the Maldives has gained a rare new entry into its

of the .Here Baa Atoll Maldives project — has now begun welcoming
guests within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll. Its sister
island, Nowhere, will follow later this year. Between them are just

a dedicated Roohu — a butler, yes, but better described as a highly

Culinary direction is led by Executive Chef Georgios Vasilopoulos,
whose nearly twenty years of international experience at world-class
hotels shows in every detail. Safar, the island’s restaurant and bar,
o昀昀ers dishes where precision and indulgence walk hand-in-hand —
a subtle layering of global technique and Indian Ocean 昀氀avour. Yet
some of the most memorable meals happen privately: starlit tasting
menus on your terrace, paired with the hush of the lagoon and wine
